Its been a few months since my last induction heating project so I decided that this weekend I will build a new one. It uses a TL494 oscillator and two IRFP460 MOSFETs in halfbridge. It heats nails razor blades and anything made of steel or iron.

  • where have you got the transformer ?

  • @TheBullShitCompany I tore it out of a computer monitor. I really should be using a toroidal transformer but this was all I had. For my 10kW project I am using a stack of three toroids about 3'' across each.

  • don't the mosfets need a bigger heatsink? sorry, I come from the hifi audio world.

  • @gripracer In this case, yes. Because I used an open collector transistor and resistor as a MOSFET driver they dissapate a lot of power at currents above a few amps. If I had better rise and fall times this heatsink would work ok.

  • I thought this was a very cool effort! Nicely done. For 150 watts it performed well.

  • @themainproblem - I really needs better drivers for the halfbridge and a better output transformer. I built a new one that can supply about 800 watts, much more efficient, the inverter failed after much screwing around though so I do not have a proper video.

  • @100silverpizza bet you busted your kneecaps being a baby bitch trying to play the big man's sport so now you're up here shitting ad hominen all over the place like its diarhea. Meanwhile this guy makes a machine that melts fucking STEEL if you don't think that gets him laid seven times a day you're completely fucken crazy. You probably don't even know which end of a battery is supposed to touch the spring in your gay wii console dildo remote. Owned.

  • Does the circuit change frequency as the phase angle of the load changes? Curious to know as I have tried an ascillator with MOSFET amplifier and the circuit is liable to blow the output when the load mass dimensions change. mine is a series res ckt for load impedance matching.

  • Alex are you still out there? I have not heard from you in a very long time.

  • what do you put in the thick copper coil ? I mean what voltage, what amperage , please excuse my ignorance. why 4 turns of copper or five ? is that solid copper or tubing? ,,, are those secrets of trade ? the diameter of the thick coil is of importance ? It is interesting to see it working buy it's more interesting to know why it works.,,,thanks if you respond.

видеокамеры с инфракрасной низкой световое шоу в белый и зеленый в основном - Правда для Sony и Canon - Это, наверное, то, что он использует.

  • I WANT ONE please show me how to build in. i'd like to build one thats about twice that size so a LOT of help would be VERY nice and a price chart of what everything costs please

  • Fake hahaha :) Nail will first turn red and then white, but never so white. And the ring.. poor editing there.

  • relizer sock my dick

  • can you please send me a circuit diagram?

i am waing for your answer

    thank you

  • вот это класс

  • @TheNopoizoron Сначала собери, а потом вывод сделай)
