I remember going to San Antonio to go Christmas shopping. We would wake up early. The Moon and the stars would still be out. The highway ran alngside the Union Pacific line that heads to the Mexican border. I remember seeing the beams of light from the locomotives. Looked like laser beams. The lights were so bright, they illuminated the track ahed for at least a mile or two. It is a beautiful sight to see.
