That is not a daddy long legs. It is a cellar spider. Daddy long legs spiders have a one piece body and are also known as Harvestman. They are more scavengers than predators.
As for venom... all spiders have venom to subdue their prey, just some are a lot more potent than others. Cellar spiders are harmless to people.

daddy long legs are not dangerous to humans at all they aren't even poisonous they have no venom glands. and they are scavengers not hunters.

I once read a news article about a someone getting killed by a cellar spider. It built a web in front of a motion sensor and set off a burglar alarm. Police responding to the alarm overreacted and shot a guy who was in the building working late.
