Munchkin cats are not unhealthy, nor do they suffer for the shorter legs. It's been studied, trust me. They suffer no special issues. Only the same issues any other cat can face.

@jackiepur ok, I did go off a bit, but it riles me...I spent a Very long time researching the gentics of this breed, I too, hate the "designer" breeding...and I am content with my findings...it's the same kind of thing that makes most white cats deaf...please look into this breed further and you will see what I mean. But, in hindsight, thank you for caring, if somewhat misguided!!

@thespaceboon101 i wouldn't kill them off and i understand what you're saying however you didn't have to call me stupid, i'd never heard of munchkin cats and i'm a big cat lover somebody told me about them and they said it would be like walking on our knees which i'd imagined would be painful obv i was wrong.

@jackiepur LOL calm down fucking hell I made a mistake somebody told me that munchkins were altered scientifically to have shorter legs for the cuteness of them clearly i was wrong, it just didn't seem natural i guess that a cat would be born with short legs considering that they run and jump everywhere that's all.
