Steam Christmas Achievements - Revenge of the Titans *Tutorial* Part 2/2

Very close run for the 5 X-Mas achievements on a great game. Made me litteraly sweaty :)

Restart a few times, to get a good map. This one is very nice for my setup, but it´s also working on more open ones.
Retry the same Map a few times, until you got the timing to build 4-5 refs and a blaster-tower to kill the first ones on you def-spot.
I got lucky with the smart bomb so i could start with an assault tower.

I kinda did what he did but instead of the scanners first, i went for reloaders THEN scanners cause a lot of the times i tried was that once I was reloading I pretty much lost. After that I got some spreaders and more assaults got all the mini towers , built some factorys etc. Sold the extractors that werent doing anything and used the money to buy like tangle web to help slow them down. Also bought the laser since it seems rockets do friendly damage to turrets and spammed barricades

same thing just happened to me. Only difference is instead of exploding, they just disappeared after stopping for a while. Got a ton of achievements, but I didn't seem to get the one I needed for some reason (drunken family argument).

So I'm sitting there, building my defenses, kind of nervous at the swarm of yetis, when suddenly they all stop in their tracks. Whats worse, my turrets stop shooting them.

And then they start randomly exploding. Until there are none left on my screen.

I keep getting warnings of ultrayetis coming, but none of them survive to get onto the map. They die, and I just sit around waiting for something to happen.

And whats even weirder, I'm getting achievements for it.
