My Apoligies to Lasse for using his song, "Chaplin Snakker", which is a wonderful song. The clip is from "The Great Dictator" starrting Charlie Chaplin. This video is a responce to everyone who hate too much. For those who put hatefull comments on videos of people who say they believe in God or a higher being. How dare you spread so much hate to others. Are you that unhappy with your lives that all you have left is poison in your hearts. That everyday is a miracle. When you look into the mirror and you see your self, you are looking at a miracle?

We humans, with all our advances in technology to "bring" us closer together are no more civilized than our caveman ancestors. We are just as violent and hateful then as we are now with no sign of changing. Oh, we may go to church or pray and say that we are better, but we are not. I choose to be better, to be more kind to other people, to respect their views, even if I don't agree with them or believe in their god. I choose to be an example to others of how we could be better towards others, to what we should be after over 10,000 years of evolution and not what we are. I feel pity for those who find it easier to say hateful things that it is to say one kind word to another. To those who wish to see our world be a better place for our children, it starts with you and me. Be part of the solution, not the problem.

Peace

  • Interesting remix of "Lay Lady Lay" by Bob Dylan...

  • @SpectralSounds Actually, the strings that you hear is from the movie, 20 years before Bob Dylan did Lay Lady Lay.

  • I wish music spoke lyrics like this. I want this as a song.

  • This was always one of my favorite monologues in a movie, it's just Charlie speaking to whomever would listen. Unfortunate at the time no one understood what he was trying to say in this film. So common place now to speak out about world issues, very risky then. Charlie was a legend.

  • He's a wise man, a true genius.

  • Hope.

  • Favorite remix of this scene!

  • I think to much and feel too little!

  • Thank you for posting this. I know its corny to say - but I have hope because people like you exist and make something positive to watch.

  • This is the greatest video on YouTube

  • @DJRapthor Sorry DJ, but Chaplin , not only acted in this movie, not only did he write the music and perform it, not only did he direct it, Charlie Chaplin wrote it. His words, he deserves the praise.

  • @DJRapthor More fail, please, DJ! LOL There is nothing in this world so sweet as a loudmouth popping off and having no idea what he's talking about. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
