Hello to all the people roaming Youtube.

Here is the 11th video I've ever made. This one is portraying the relationship between Amanda Young and John Kramer, aka Jigsaw. It is to a very good band called Breaking Benjamin, and the song is Cold. When I first told my friends and family about the idea of putting the two together they were like "Really? That song is the last I'd expect to go with any of the Saw movies." To be honest, that's what I thought first too. I had seen Saw II and III once before, and I thought "Eh, Saw was better," but then I re-watched Saw III and and idea came to me. I originally thought of putting it to the song What Have You Done Now by Within Temptation, but then I thought "You know, I've already repeated idea with Evanescence enough, and though Within Temptation and Evanescence are both amazing bands, I should take a chance." So I imported all the songs I thought might go with Saw III. I added Cold as a last resort, but once I went through all my options, more and better ideas came with the song and hopefully this video will show those ideas that I thought were pretty cool.
Here's the story behind it; I'm trying to do that more just in case people don't get it. you can never be too careful these days cause I know I've watched some really confusing videos that stray along lifelessly with no real point and the producer gives no explanation and I hate it each time:

Jigsaw noticed Amanda from the very beginning. He saw her potential, sensed what she could become with his guidance. Not to mention she was the only one to ever survive his games. While she gave him someone to continue his legacy and lifework, he gave her a father, someone to look up to. But after he gave her the power to change people's lives, she began abusing that power, running after people who had hurt her, and not giving them any chance to live at all. She had turned into a blind murderer, only fueled by her rage while she believed she was reborn from Jigsaw's game. Jigsaw wanted to save her, so he let her continue to set up games, cleaning up after her mistakes. But he becomes harsher with the truth as the truth becomes harsher to him, now knowing no matter what he did or what he said, Amanda is a lost cause. Amanda is infuriated, jealous, and hurt by Jigsaw's words and actions, and though he gave her a home and a family, she feels as though she never meant anything to him and goes against his teaching. Then she decides to show him how weak HE is, how defenseless HE really is, how empty HE really is.

One again, she is blinded from the truth that she truly means everything to Jigsaw.

So yea, that's it, and BTW, the gray colored clips are Amanda's POV, and the colored, are Jigsaw's POV (There's a story behind that too. I've always seen Amanda's thoughts as somewhat darker and unclearer than Jigsaw's, so that's why her POV is the color it is and his is the color it is.) Just in case people were wondering. My sister said it was obvious, but once again, you can never be too careful.
So enjoy, hopefully, and I hope you like the video.

BTW, later on, I know it's really old, but I'm coming out with a few videos that are mostly pictures. I know, I know, really really old skool, super old skool, but there are just some songs that I never saw anything except pictures too so that's the way it's gonna be.

  • I don't get why she is in his trap then next she is working with him?!!?

  • @283kieran It's complicated. Amanda was the only one to survive one of his traps. Naturally, he wanted to recruit her, to give her something to live for. Jigsaw was the only thing that had ever made Amanda feel alive, as she told the Detective, "He helped me." So she probably felt honored, and loved, at the fact that he wanted to take her in as his apprentice.

  • I liked it but next time try what lies beneath or crawl or follow me or i will not bow or into the nothing but good choice or lights out again good choice but it's just what i think

  • @denisebeska well see originally, I wasn't sure the song was the right fit for the video either. I was just bored and needed a project and I happened to have the movie Saw on my computer. So I was like "eh, I'll dabble a little with a few songs and see what I can get. I don't even remember what other songs I tried, but Cold was like the fifth one I tried. I seriously doubted it would work but I tried anyways, and before I knew it, I was adding to it more and more. So I just used this song.

  • @denisebeska not to mention this was made before the new album came out..

  • LOve it it would be cool if u did a Saw music video too Breaking Benjamin's Dance with the devil..^^

  • I think that may have some good outcomes for certain lyrics, but with other's I believe it would just be a dead end. But I'll keep it in mind though!

  • @FallenAngel58525 Yep that confused me but i am going to roll with it lol but thanks anyway

  • @FallenAngel58525 Ok I'm just sayin.

  • You know Jigsaw is like a hero. I mean think about it: He has a really bad life(in health ways) while some people are perfectly healthy but they mess up like killing someone, selling drugs and so on. So he decides that they don't deserve to be alive. So he traps a group of people, and puts them through a course of challenging, and deadly traps. If a person who did real bad things lives and, he will trap the person again and amp the traps up. So if you thing he is a bad guy he isn't.

  • whyd u say youtube ruins evrything :S

  • I freaking love this vid!!!!! You definately nailed the relationship of John and Amanda. Bravo!
