  • @Irfan87 indeed he did have one actually three Chinese coaches as far as i know

at the beginning of his career (he was 5), in club TSV Höchst, Xu zengcai.

Timo called him "my teacher(coach) forever"

then in Heidelberg, the german national team Coach Li Xianjue(Chinese of course) used to teach him either

Since 1999 , Li Xianjue's son Li Ping has became his coach

well without these Coaches, he wouldn't be that great

    so does Christian Suss

  • It's annoying how everyone tries to write off Xu Xin's performance by giving all sorts of excuses. Off form or not, its no easy feat to 4-0 the worlds best players, Timo and Ma Long. Say what you want, Xu Xin is one of the best in the world right now. There is no doubt whatsoever that he will be future number 1. In terms of raw talent, he is almost unmatched. Once hes fully mastered RPB, thats it.

  • Xu Xin outplayed Timo Boll...unbelievable!!!

  • timo just needs to be shaken up sometimes and he'll lose(vs top players)

  • xu xin or ma lin hmmm

  • Love watching Xu Xin!! His fast forearm AND epic reactions to edge balls and sometimes he tries to steal points from oppenents.. Epic funny!! :D

  • @Beeray11 well have you seen ma long at the moment every tournament he has attended he won and that 6 or 7 times in a row he is very tough to beat atm and by far the best in the world

  • @beeray Xu Xin is a great talent, but I believe the penhold grip will always be inferior. Ma Long and Zhang Jike are the more complete players than Xu Xin, Wang Hao and Ma lin. In the ladies game penhold has become virtually obsolete. The penhold style can do some weird stuff that shakehand never can, but still, anyone taking up the game wanting to be the best should go s/h.

  • @ 6:24 that's how pros play.

  • @Beeray11 now we still hear heard was"Ma Long....Ma Long!!!...

  • Glad to see both of them are left-handed as me :D

  • what is the problem that's endemic in all sports?
