the only thing i will say to every single one calling this game castlevania of war is think again before you speak. Im 25 years old and i was raise with castlevania i have play every single castlevania game and castlvania exist since 1986, so the only truth is that devilmay cry, god of war bayonetta and the ohter games in the genere, exist because castlevania. So think again before calling castlevania a rip off of any other game.

@kyo3016 Im like almost, im 28 years old and followed many 2D/3D games of castlevania! God of war IS the clone. Period. God of war has taken inspiration from Castlevania: lament of innocense/Curse of darkness, Devilmaycry, Onimusha etc!

i think its good, Konami will not give up and PROVE there can be a good Castlevania game in 3D. With the typical Castlevania/Dracula-feeling as it should be! Im sure they WILL succeed and everyone will regret their "hate"

@kyo3016 thats a fanboy statement.. i have nothing against castlevania.. but this has not much to do with the old series of castlevania.. the old series were darker and most of the time inside a castle, not on the outside etc.

and its a fact that lords of shadow is a complete reboot of the series.. the kind of gameplay and leveldesign etc... and you cant ignore some simularities to other titles "GoW, Darksiders, Dantes inferno" etc.

the style of gameplay. dont get me wrong this is a good game

Im playing the game right now. so far just loving it, and by the way for those so call castlevania fans that says that this game has nothing to do with Castlevania you may want to take a look back at Castlevania 3 and 2 in the nes days. where the adventure was linear and always heading to to Castlevania itself and no t like in symphony of the night (wich i also love by the way) where you spend all the time in Dracula's castle.
