The back of #449: The Palmer Diamond on 7-1-10

I took the LSL on 7-1-10 and got a rear-end view of Palmer. There were some railfans there when I went by. If you want to skip the intro, go to 1:06
I hope you all enjoy this!! 60-70mph. If anybody has video of THIS train, please send me their videos. Also. I hope those railfans filmed me waving out the window as I went over the diamond.

@Chessiecat97 The Amtrak personell are at the back but they were nice and let me film. During the West Pittsfield detector, you can hear it get louder. The conductor held the radio up next to the speakers so I could record it better. You may even get the same cafe car that I rode in!

@trinityct Ohh ok I often see a conductor standing on the rear. I wanted to know because I will be taking 448 and 449 in a few weeks.

@Chessiecat97 Nope. There was a door there. I filmed through the glass. I asked if I could film out in the open air. The conductor said no. Too dangerous. If I fell out at Palmer, I'd have become part of the diamond! :P
