Did you know they're making a new one? I'm dead serious.

Awesome. I remember playing parts of Manhunter: San Francisco (as well as Police Quest) at my cousin's house when I was like 8 or something. It was kind of creepy and sinister, yet immersive.
Years later, I live in Northern California and have finally gotten to see the Transamerica Pyramid : )

Lol, a reply from a comment two months ago...What game did you want that bad; Countdown or Manhunter?
-
@raverkansascity I think we beat both within a week of buying them, but that was mostly my Dad and brothers.
-
@Gargantua606 I wanted that game so bad!
-
@FraterJ I beat the game within a few months. I took notes as I played, writing every little thing down

You gotta admit, those Adventure game boxes they did 20 years ago sure beat the crap out of today's game boxes. I still treasure my "Countdown" (Access) floppy disk box, with moody illustration and evocative dialogue samples (yeah I've just hijacked your thread for the Countdown game, it is to me what Manhunter seems to be to you).
You got a nice voice, ;).
Oh wow yeah I had that same pack with PQ2, Silpheed and Manhunter good stuff classic games

You are a legend.
This game was a favorite of me and my brothers we used to play it in London and think New York was really like it was in Manhunter! I'm still looing for a place to live that's as cool as his place in the game
Thank you
