This video shows the progression of fibropapilloma disease in a young male Hawaiian green sea turtle named "Nui" (Hawaiian for "big"). We first met Nui in 1990 when he showed just the slightest signs of the tumor disease. Fibropapilloma progressed through 1992.

By 1993, it had stabilized and by 1994 we were confident enough to record Nui as a regression case. Nui is still around Honokowai, West Maui. We last saw him in Summer 2006. Nui's doing just fine.
