A man dressed as an armored car guard walked into a Queens check-cashing shop on Friday morning and walked out with almost $15,000 in cash. The suspect walked into Lorenzo's Enterprises on 31st Street in Astoria at around 10:15am wearing a GARDA Armored Courier uniform. Employees thought he was there for the pickup and gave him the money. They realized they had been robbed when a real GARDA employee arrived for the pickup several hours later. Source: NY Daily News
