Watch Jason talk about why it is important to fill out your U.S. Census form.

Transcript:
Hello! Im filling out the 2010 U.S. Census. Its important because it helps us keep our representation in the U.S. Government. Did you know that Minnesota has over 5 Million people? Of those 5 million people, 10% are Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing. That means over 500,000 people need to be counted. You might think 500,000 people is quite enough to fill out the Census. If 2,000 people are missing, though, we lose representation. We now have 8 representatives. If 2,000 people dont fill out the Census, we will only get 7. One state will get one more than us. We will lose representation. We need that representative to help us fight for our services, our funding, our programs. We really need to keep those. So please help us. Stand up, be counted. Fill out the Census!
