  • Eagles don't "learn" how to fly; it is total instinct. They are American Bald Eagles, out country's official symbol. They are very social birds, and the parent was probably just playing with the juvie - so they could get off the branches and soar the thermals and be free. Beautiful. There are many web cams of bald eagles, and many other types of birds, on the internet where you can watch how two loving parents bring up their offspring from egg to fledgling. Doesn't take long at all. Check it.
