i can say when a woman middle aged aske for a belly massage and i told her keep the towell on her while, but she say itis okay, just do it, and i came down her lower belly until... u know the history, but she was married and was embarrasing time for me.

I think that in working in ANY aspect of health care, you must be prepared for accidents and incidents, and must know how to professionally react (or not react). There will be "digestive/urinary system moments", people who undress right before your eyes without a second thought, erections, out of control crying, and more. That's par for the course. Knowing that these things will happen will help therapists be better able to deal with it.

I would say it was embarrassing, but also made me mad.. was when I had a middle aged man and he asked for a ab massage. He kept on asking me to go lower and lower to his pubic hair. I was embarrassed for even being in that situation. But I kept calm and just told calmly told him that I did not do that and he got the point.

I've had men yank their draping off without any hesitation or regards to how that would make me feel. I want to just tell them how violating and intimidating it feels for a man to just expose himself to any woman let alone a female practitioner who is just trying to do her job. I was thinking of putting something up on the wall saying that indecent exposure is against the law and to not remove the draping for any reason!
