Love circus too but, also did not draw that same parallel when I first saw Streb's work.

It's like Stomp meets pro wrestling, only without all the talent!

Impressive. But, is it ultimately circus?

We love circus and respect the amazing performances and spectacle that it creates, from Ringling Bros to Cirque du Soleil (we performed for Cirque on their 20th anniversary in Montreal a couple years ago), but ultimately, our show is not circus.
This excerpt captures the energy of the show, but I'd recommend catching a performance at our space in Brooklyn, or our touring show so you could make a better judgement.

I'm not sure if the traditional separation between the art/dance/pop culture is useful in naming/limiting what we do. I find it enlivening—physically, emotionally and mentally.

It would be great to see it in person. I am familiar with Streb's work from years ago. It has evolved tremendously and certainl there is a place for it in the world regardless of whether it is art, entertainment or both. I simply pose the question and think it is worth asking.
