On vacation, Captain Olimar of Hocotate is cruising the universe in his spaceship, the Dolphin, when he collides with a meteor above a large planet and is sent spiraling groundward. When he awakes, Olimar finds his ship shattered, with many parts missing. Worse yet, he only has thirty days' of oxygen left in his suit. He is not without hope, however, as he befriends a native species which he names Pikmin. With their help, he sets out to locate his ship's missing parts and return home.

Actually, I've gotten that spring-thing that's being guarded by the bulborb on the cliff where you get the 5-pellet (ya know what I'm talking about) plenty of times on the second day. You don't need blues for it. You just need to have plenty of reds at the beginning, so that you can multitask.
