It would be great to actually hear the cymbal after it's been repaired - thanks for posting.
Hmmm... totally off subject here but I'm considering getting my cymbals engraved (Because I can). Think it'll affect the sound much? I'm only using Planet Z's at the moment so if it wrecks them... well... not really much of a loss.

Should be no loss of tone in my opinion, but it would depend on where, how deep, etc. Laser engraving? No prob. If you interrupt to much of the tonal groove pattern, you will definitely hear the difference. Hope that helps! Greg

i'm SOOO lucky, in all my cymbals i've had over the last 13 years, i've never cracked one, hopefully I didn't jinx myself
