Education used to be aspirational. Certainly, I didn't begin my undergraduate degree with the thought that I wouldn't earn enough on graduation to have to pay back my loan.
Is the government seriously suggesting that prospective students will not be put off entering higher education because they will believe their future salaries will be low enough to avoid loan repayments?
It's a shame that so many VCs are colluding with the government in this con. Sometimes militance is right.
