This is a test I did with Blender. I tried to make the effect which Hitchcock used in his Vertigo.

The lightning, modelling and texturing is far from perfect; it's just a test!

Hope you like it.

  • Easy.

    Zoom-in + Travelling-out.

  • track in, zoom out.

  • get your camera far back, then zoom in to the subject.

as you zoom out, bring the camera closer to the subject do this at the same speed.

think of it as 2 cars on each side of the road passing by each other at the same speed.

  • yeah it does, i just have no idea how to time it perfectly say with a conventional method

  • match camera zoom, with focus zoom...if that makes any sense

  • how'd you do it?

  • nice...

    but cud have been longer

  • ya fo sho

  • could be longer
