It's actually 15, not 25. And this movie is based on a true story, and most probably the dogs didn't go cannibal to survive, they managed to get loose from the chains (some, not all of 'em) and hunted penguins and seals for food.
But this movie and characters inside it ain't real, like all other movies and stuff inside it.
