While I happen to agree with "miarocks" in preferring the "Loara 1969" version of Purple Carnival, "...WHAT THIS MARCH SHOULD SOUND LIKE" is subject to the director's interpretation. And, Arcadia has always looked for a less-strident, darker, richer sound that some might call "uninspiring". It's all a matter of taste, really.
