My name is Charles. I have been IN 13 hurricanes in my lifetime. I am now 53 years old. This is actually what it is. The power behind these storms is awsome. Katrina holds the record for the highest storm surge. It is horrible to get out of your home and see everything you worked for all your life just washed away or blown away. The mental stress is also bad. I was IN hurricane Rita and hurricane IKE. I have been in 145 mph wind and I assure you it is bad. This is my home because ,,my choice.

I delivered office supplies all along Highway 90. All the places I delivered to are now obliterated. GONE. It's as if an entire history was swept away.
