  • In 1973 Richard Nixon planned a dictatorship in Chile that was mantained for 17 years. Edward Kennedy was a person who helped the Chilean people to recover their dignity by participating in a document that forbid the buying of guns by the Chilean military govement from the United Estates. For that reason we love Edward Kennedy in Chile.

  • this story was repeated so many times over Ted Kennedy's career. In terms of actually influencing the dialy lives of people, his legacy is probably even greater than all of his brothers. He was a great man.

  • i heard he's a good guy.

  • so sad it was his last speech.. hope i've heard more from him...

  • Only now that Harvard has fallen to the disgraceful level of political correctness of appointing a second rate academician with scant administrative experience as its president, could a man who was suspended from Harvard for cheating and evaded responsibility for killing a woman while driving drunk receive a honorary doctorate from my alma mater. I am ashamed.

  • This was posted 5 days after his death. So sad D:

  • It's tremendous loss that we can no longer see Teddy Kennedy who was a true brave man. I bet my life on him. In that sense, it was good to have shared this entire process of medicare reform with him. I bet my entire life on it, he bet his entire life on it. Next time I visit the US, I will definitely visit grave of Teddy. Today is very memorial day.

  • "That we should take ourselves seriously, but never take others too seriously" I'm going to live my life by these words! haha
