I have this dvd and i love it my favourite musical then jospeh and thats it.
Best one ever 2000 version is soo better bcoz they modinized so people can understand it better i think :)

i think they modernized it for a 2nd coming type effect but yeah i like this one better too

I prefer this version over the '73 version. The 2000 version was the one I grew up with, the one I watched over and over, the one I hold the standard of Jesus Christ Superstar to. And when the 1973 version doesn't match those standards, I dismiss it because it's not the version I know and love.

It's not that the 2000 is inherently better, it's that I'm just too used to everything about it, so I can't hold both of them in my eyes equally, and that's what's going on with everyone else.

Judas in this movie sounds like a teenager with a cracky voice. It's dreadful.

Hahahahahaha! You just made my day. Sure, he's not as good as Carl Anderson, but he has a great voice.
