  • These videos you shot are absolutely incredible, what amazing quality. what camera were you using? Man, these are perhaps some of the best audience shots i have ever seen

  • Wow, thanks for the compliment on my camera work. :) All I used was a measly pocket camera: Canon PowerShot SD100 IS. It has a pretty good sound quality for a little camera. My boyfriend has the new model, the 1200 series, and his videos from the same show sounded distorted. Go figure...I guess Canon's older model works better!

Anyway, it was a great show! I'm glad you are enjoying the videos!

  • Great work Eileen! I saw both LA and SF, and was blown away... thanks for your recording of this historic event

  • @kinksboss1 -- Glad you are enjoying the videos. I'm so happy to share parts of the show with those who missed it, and to those who just wanted to see it again. Ray and the band, and the choir were simply awesome!

  • i can't believe i missed this show I live in fuckin bakersfield!

  • Thank you VERY MUCH for posting this video! I love, love, LOVE The Kinks and Ray Davies. And, this is one of, I don't know, 40-50 (if not more) Rock/Pop Masterpieces he wrote. Had the privilege I've seeing him perform at the Wiltern in LA and on several other occassions in the past and I savored every show. It's amazing how underrated he is as a song-writer by the general public but is VERY much respected and admired by his peers. God Save The Kinks!!!

  • One of my favorite Kinks songs!
