    I don't really think there's a "wrong" way to like the series. The Wire has such a multi layered story that it can appeal to everyone. Whether it's the "coolness" of the gangsters or the corrupt ways of politicians and police commissioners there to Jimmy McNulty's whoring, there is something in that series for EVERYONE.
