Actually it was FDR who began the American usage term of czar. It came about as FDR implemented the New Deal. Nice try in trying to use the old "Ronald Reagan did it too" defense. Reagan did use the term as every President since FDR has.

Just to clarify, Socialism is public control of the means of production either directly (communes, syndicates, worker cooperatives) or indirect (State Owned Enterprises).
What Obama is doing is a continuation of the bush policy of conservatorship, (glorified corporate welfare).
I would be astonished if anyone in the Obama administration had read Marx, Lerner, Minsky, Stiglitz or heck, just Paul Krugman in his administration.
