I was born in 1992, sorry that my generation has a bad taste in music. I listen to Baroque-Modern "Classical" music then stuff like this. The Beach Boys do not sing about money, sex, drugs, or violence. To me, they talk about having a good time and just living life. Music like this needs to be made again.

My response? I love it! An old friend and I right after our back east college grads (1976) made our first trip to CA, drove the coast from Eureka to LA. What a trip! I now live in central CA. Thanks so much, Beach Boys!

Did it again. This time walked from Apollo Bay to the 12 Apostles about 120 kms in 5 days. Beautiful. I Still wanna do this highway though. I imagine that Big Sur is much bigger than anything on the GOR, but I can't get the simularities out of my head. Besides, I just love this song. Lastly, I am absolutely overwhelmed with the comments this post. Seriously, slow down people.

Hi, I did it again last weekend, ie, the great ocean road (GOR). This time I had MP3 in. The 'Saga' came up and of course, reminded me of your clip again. I tried to post a clip of the GOR, but was unable. If you have a look it is pretty similiar. I'd love to ride around the Big Sur. GOR does have koalas- thought I'd add that- not sure why. Have a good one.

Thanks for the vid and song! My wife and I just rode the Great Oceon rode (different continent) but I couldn't get the simularities out of my head. And Oh my- how good are the Beach Boys. Thx :)

Thanks for this. Great music. This is from their Holland album? Haven't heard it since high school - 71. And Big Sur is one of my favorite places in the world. Anyway fun video -well done!

I love this. No blah blah blah or shots of just kids cavorting (We'd rather see trees, ocean and sea life). You just let the song play over the vistas. Fantastic. I've been through there many times. You gasp every 10 feet...
