Republican Party's Platform Position - DADT

The Republican Party's platform position on "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" states:

"To protect our servicemen and women and ensure that America's Armed Forces remain the best in the world, we affirm the timeliness of those values, the benefits of traditional military culture, and the incompatibility of homosexuality with military service."

This is unacceptable.

@GrandInquisitor7 Which traditional moral values are you talking about? Incest? Polygamy? Rape? Those are very Biblical, but I hope that's not what you support. The biggest favor you can ever do for yourself is to question what you believe.

What's at least comforting is just how much to the left they have had to move politically. In the primary debates, they were afraid to come right out with condemnation of us. Their stance was often--well, I don't think we should address this issue in the middle of a war.

And more and more folks in DC are stating that DADT needs to be eliminated.

We've come a lil ways. So far to go. Keep up the great energy for this!! :)
