Glen Gardner, NJ - The Voorhees Vikings completely shut out the Ridge Red Devils 4-0 in girls varsity field hockey. Voorhees' #13 Lauren Goracy was the first to score with 27:12 remaining in the first period. Goracy scored another goal with with 15:30 remaining in the peiod. She was assisted in her second goal by #5 Tori Symonds, who had her own unassisted goal six minutes earlier. In the second period, #4 Colleen Boya with a bit of help from Tori Symonds scored with about 24 minutes left in the game. Voorhees took 20 shots on goal, while Ridge only was able to take four. Ridge goalkeeper Amanda Bassiacos had sixteen saves, while Voorhees' Meagan Vakeiner had four.
