  • @fastinpast actually the video is right. if you have too little free sag (10-15mm), that means your shock preload is tightened down too much to get the proper race sag, and you need a stiffer spring.

  • The free sag (from the bike's own weight) info in print in the video is backward and wrong. If the value is too small ( say 10-15mm) it's over sprung, go to a softer spring to bring into 30mm range. If the value is too big/ soft, (45-50), a stiffer spring will bring it into 30mm range. Don't see how they got that wrong.

  • After you subtract first measurement from second, what do you do with that number again (the sag)?????????

  • so sag is basically how much you can pull the bike up without lifting the tires off the ground?? like a sort of "free play", cus i can pull mine up quite a bit before my tires leave the ground, maybe i should tighten mine up a bit

  • Im very confused, i get how to get the suspension number, but how do u use that number, like say the suspension sag is 3" what do i do to that three inches, where does it go, where does it come into play?

    Thanks

  • @Lizzylump you dont move them

  • this was sooo helpful. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it =)

  • If i move the springs will i have to mess with the clickers?

  • @MotoX179 finally somone who knows what they ere doing thats what i do get my suspension perfect for howi like it with this method
