During 'Stump the E Street Band" portion of the show, Bruce chooses a sign that requests "Burning Love" (Elvis standard). Band had only played the song once previously, so it's fun watching Bruce and the Band "work it out" on stage previous to the song. They ended up nailing it...as if...LOL

  • I'm not accustomed to hearing my Boss sing such a simplistic song, but it's flamin fabulous! Everyday, I say to myself, "Bruce is a Hunk". Great minds think alike? Hmmmm. Hail to the King, and this Fireball on EStreet!

  • 59 years old and sings, plays, writes as well as he has at any point in his career. Find me another artist who can say the same thing. The may is my idol!

  • Glad this was a great show. "The only thing worse than watching a bad concert is being in one".

  • The great thing about the Boss is he never disappoints.

  • Surprisingly, I like this version of the King's classic; but missin his gyrations. Must have spun this 45 a million times! Hope to hear this one in Jersey, without having to carry a sign around. TYFP.

  • Me too. I think the band will rock it even harder!

  • There's a lot to love about Bruce Springsteen but what I admire is Bruce's customary and respectable hat tip at almost every concert to Elvis -- by doing a cover of a Presley hit. Springsteen does it so well -- I'm certain Elvis himself is grinning. Bruce is that kind of performer. He knows where it all originates -- and he will remind us. He's going to keep it going as strong and for as long as possible. I don't agree with Bruce's politics -- but he is one of the best rockers we have.

  • That was my fav show I have seen him do. The covers he played were perfect and all of the songs sounded great!

  • They nailed it....surprise, surprise. Really good!!

  • I was at 4 Boston shows in 2009 and have seen the Boss a few other times. This show in Mansfield was easily the best I have ever seen him do. The energy just built all night, and the band was making it up as they go even more than usual. This show was an A++ and then some!! Bruce and U2 blow every other act out of the water in terms of live shows, it is not even close!!

  • LOL... It's Elvis. He could sing anything and it would come across as macho!
