  • Panasonic GF-1 does the same thing without diving through menus and without holding a button....check it out!

  • The E-510 does have that setting

in mode 4 and the AEL/AFL button.

  • Oh, I thought you were talking about the E-P2. I'm not familiar with the E-510 settings. My guess is that it doesn't have the C-AF Tracking since it's a new feature on the Oly Pen. Sorry for the confusion.

  • I went into AFL/AEL, selected C-AF and then selected Mode 4 then when I go to take a photo on these settings, the lcd screen displays a round border with a square inside of it. The lcd screen remains black and I take the shot and the result is all black. I must have the E-510 on a setting that does not allow me to shoot in the C-AF mode I guess.
  • No, the anti-shock setting is totally different. What do you mean you can't see anything on the screen? Did you change the focusing mode to C-AF TR instead of S-AF?

  • well I tried the setting in mode 4

and I can't see anything on the

lcd screen and photos don't show up.

Do I need to have the anti-shock setting on?

  • Can this setting be selected on the E-510?
