London Gay Hate Crime Vigil Trafalgar Square - Intro to Vigil and 'Same Sex Saturdays' / 17- 24-30

Broadcaster and comedienne Sandi Toksvig welcomes thousands of people to Trafalgar Square to the take part in the London Gay Vigil against hate crimes, after Ian Baynham, a gay man, lost his life to queer bashers when walking through the square recently.

After her welcoming words, Sandi introduces David Watkins and Mark Healey from a group called 17-24-30, so-named because it represents the three dates three different communities were seperately attacked by 'nail bomber' David Copeland, but which have brought these communities (gay people, asians and jewish) closer together.

David introduces 'Same Sex Saturdays' where he encourages the gay community to be more visible by simply holding hands (or perhaps a peck on the cheek!) in public just like opposite-sex couples do.

candlelight vigil, what useless sh*t. violent thugs just sit around and laugh their ass off at this. the only solution is to learn to defend yourself, yes, if necessary, with deadly force. if you don't want to defend yourself, then don't expect anyone else to either. the police DO NOT CARE. the people of the U.K. have chosen violence by GIVING UP their gun rights. this video is just useless drivel.

i am gay, i am a law abiding citizen, i live in the U.S.A., and i have a PERMIT to carry a gun to defend myself. carry permit holders have a LOWER CRIME RATE than police officers do, cause no social harm, and enhance public safety. the good people of the U.K. have been dis armed, and now have more violent crime (including gun crime) than before. gun conrol is a HINDRANCE to public safety, not an enhancement to it. ARMED GAYS DON'T GET BASHED!
