Hybrid Maze Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation

The Hybrid Maze combines the disciplines of cardiac electrophysiology and cardiac surgery to provide an effective therapy for patients who may require a more aggressive therapy. I It utilizes the N-Control Vacuum Ablation system followed by catheter based pulmonary vein isolation t is ideal for patients who have failed prior ablation of who may be less likely to benefit from standard techniques due to long duration of atrial fibrillation or a left atrium of greater than 5.0 cm.
