John was a gnostic?? John spoke out against and condemned Gnosticism in 1 John. Try studying the Bible instead of listening to atheistic nonsense from people who dont even know the difference between Genesis and Revelation. How exactly did Eusebius prove that Matthew and Mark werent the authors? Was he there when the original authors wrote the Gospels? Luke never claimed to have walked with Jesus during His earthly ministry. Luke was a historian who recorded the events as told by the apostles

The scripture clearly said the "these signs will follow those who believe" does this only apply to the early followers.
if you are a believer you should be able to do is?

If you think the New Testament was written by the apostles then you know very little about the Bible and it's history. The writings of Eusebius of Caesarea about Papias prove that Matthew and Mark were not the authors of the books by the same name. John wasn't an apostle and didn't even know Jesus besides the fact that the evidence supports John being a Egyptian gnostic text. Luke never knew Jesus and this is supported by Luke 1:1. Paul, again, never met Jesus.

for example, in the New Testament alone, we see many of these miracles performed (Paul was bitten by a snake and it didnt harm him at all, the apostle's healed many people and even raised the dead) such miracles and gifts were done to establish the first church, such miracles are no longer "necessary" as they were back then. So the Bible isnt telling us to drink poison, as you misinterpreted. Jesus was speaking of some of the miracles that would be the signs that "will follow those who believe"

Mark 16:17-18 And these signs will follow those who believe.. ..they will take up serpents;and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them;they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
Such miracles were seen in the first Church. God worked miracles in the first Church for people to believe in the absence of the established word. However, the verse isn't saying to go and purposely commit suicide, it says that such events would be signs of Christ's early followers.

yes "the bible is true" so drink the worst poison u can, u wont die, isn't the bible true? that mean u wont die.
Christians like u should prove that what u believe is true, and show people that everything what the bible says is true

...Therefore we see that the Scriptures were not corrupted since we have so many preserved ancient manuscripts (over 24,000 of them) that agree with our modern Bible and we can even translate our English Bible back to the original Greek and Hebrew and it has the same exact meanings and definitions, including the overall message of the Bible which is that Jesus is the only way to Heaven.
I suppose what amazes me, is that if we were to find a book of the exact era as the Bible, that talks about the Egyptian Rah, or any other diety, science and anti-Christians would view it as "a history book". The Bible is a fairy tail though, not a book of history, even though it, in every way, is written about the history of that era. Amazing, just amazing.

Does this mean that Moby Dick was also an accurate depiction of real events? Ishmael claimed to have witnessed it all. If a thousand years from now someone found Moby Dick and didn't know any better they would prove themselves by pointing and saying "Look! Ishmael proves these events happened by saying he SAW them happen!"
Bottom line: Don't use the bible to prove the bible. Saying the bible is right because the bible tells you its right is refusing to use gods greatest gift. Your mind!
