The people that only like 1 type of music ( Rap is not music in my op... sorry) is just a way of saying they dont know music at all. This is realy good, Good timing, same knotes, ext. sounds very good, you can add a singing part over just a bass and drum part for the verses then come in with chorus and play the melody over the chorus line, I just bought a korg x50 today and writing a song with the hungarian scale in c minor add a melody with the banjo,

hey man a little adice from a knoledgable keyboardist, lead synth sounds are more popular in songs, you gotta grab the viewers attention.

this sounds like more of a progressive thing, try stacking these beats and riffs youve made and THEN puting a lead synth sound over fooor a solo,l trust me

though, not bad your just thinkning in the wrong mind set
