Spent a week and a half in Georgia with my dear ailing father. Took the Bart Reider Regent with me, and spent a week in the Bible Belt playing in open C = GCGCE. Seems like almost all the old gospel songs play good in this tuning. Here's one played in the Reider with a sock in it.

"Soon we will see our dear, loving Savior,
Hear the last trumpet sound through the sky;
Then we will meet those gone on before us,
Then we shall know and understand why."

  • Amazing what talent.I could easily spend a week and a half in this mans company.

  • @MrTops2100 Thank You, but you wouldn't like it. I'd have you out in the garage, grinding, welding, cutting, etc., hahaha.

  • As told by Tom T Hall...He went to the opry, and left his banjo in his station wagon, when he came out to go home, someone had busted out the rear window of his car, and left another banjo.

  • @pulangdragon that's why I got so many banjos.. hahahaha..

  • Terrific! You sing at all?

  • Oh yes!
