Applied Eskrima, Sensei Kimo Williams Eskrima Journey

Sensei Kimo Williams has been learning martial arts since he was 8 years old, and now also teaches the art of Danzan-Ryu Judo/Jujitsu. It is a well known fact that the founder of Danzan-Ryu Professor Okazaki also studied different martial arts and one of them was Eskrima. Danzan-Ryu and Eskrima just blends well together and is a must for every practitioner, who wants to expands their knowledge and open new horizons.... Today, Sensei Williams is learning the Basic 2725 drills and 2725 A to 2725 G. The 2725 methods goes up to Z and involves different moves and counter moves to really enhance the reflexes of the individual training. I am so blessed and humbled, that so many experienced martial artists from so many different martial arts background have sought me to teach them , my system of Balintawak Close Quarters Eskrima and the number one on that list is Guro Dan Inosanto. More than half of my students are experienced martial artists and instructors in their own field of expertise. To quote Sifu Bruce Lee: " I am not a Master, I am a Student-Master, meaning that I have the knowledge of a Master and the expertise of a Master, But I am still learning, so I am a Student-Master !" My students who are experienced in their own fields of martial arts are following what Sifu Bruce Lee has propagated and that is , Learn something new, Always Keep on Learning and Never Stop Learning !
