The Soccer Aid TV programme, broadcast in May 2006, included six films featuring UNICEF Ambassadors telling the stories of children whose lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS, malaria, malnutrition, lack of education, lack of clean water and abandonment. These are the areas of our work that money raised by Soccer Aid supports.

In this film, UNICEF Ambassador James Nesbitt speaks about UNICEF's work in Zambia to ensure children, especially girls receive an education. Of the 120 million children worldwide who do not attend school, the majority are still girls.
