This is a commercial for Deseret First credit union. There are a LDS company. My mom got these in an email and I thought that everyone should see them.

The bank isnt church owned. its just owned/ operated by people who are lds and share the standards of people who would go there

No lots of churches don't have their own credit unions. The only thing I know of owned by a church, other than this credit union for mormons,, is a life insurance for Lutherans. But lying is a sin and the overwhelming majority of churches don't have credit unions.

It's a credit union, not a bank. Lots of churches have them.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for freedom of religion, but a church owned bank, which openly discriminates against non-lds and hides behind freedom of religion to evade taxes that isn't right. The LDS church holds property and operates businesses while hiding behind the tax exemption given to a church. A church bookstore is one thing, but banks, apartments and other businesses are another.
