Feelings episode 1

*At the Austin household Nick, Kevin and their father are having a family meeting*

Dad: Boys you both know how upset i was when your mother left
Nick: dad, upset is an understatement
Dad: ok, ok more than a little upset, well we wanted you boys to be the first to know...
Nick: (interrupts his dad) we?
Dad: yes, we, boys I've meet someone, a lady, and were getting married next year
Nick: what! *choking on his water*
Dad: Kevin? You haven't said anything, what do you think?
Nick: *still recovering* Kev, aren't you surprised?
Kevin: *he says quietly* I already knew...
Nick: what! *glaring at his dad* you told him but not me he was the one who wanted to go live with mum during the divorce i was the one who stayed with you! And you told him!
Dad: no i didn't tell him how do you know?
Kevin: I saw her picture on your bed stand
(A/N: Yeah, real discrete dad...)
Dad: well i guess now that's out of the way, her names Susan and she has a daughter, about your age Nick
Kevin: when is she moving in?
Nick: She's moving in!
Kevin: Bro if her and dad are getting married chances are she's moving in
Dad: yes actually she will be arriving tomorrow and her daughter later in the week
Nick: this is rubbish! You didn't even tell us you were seeing someone let alone engaged *storms out slamming the door behind him*
Kevin: Let him cool off he'll come through
Dad: yeah i hope so
