This very unique piece of symphonic fusion was recorded by the former keyboardist for Bruce Springsteen keyboard player David Sancious. I DO NOT OWN THE COPYWRITES TO THIS

  • True Stories is one of my favorite albums of all time. And I have it as an ALBUM as well as a CD (and now MP3 -- damn but I'm getting old). David Sancious is a genius and this cut proves it. It's tight and still pushes the edges of the envelope. Hearing it reminds me of my early college days. So much promise and new adventure!

  • my uncle is the bass player of this band my uncle is gerry carboy and thanks for putting this video up it is my favorite song by them.

  • This lived on my turntable for many months, I loved all of the early DS. inspired me to be a keyboard player

  • God I love this song.

  • I had this album....bought it in Philly....it still sounds terrific....!!!!

  • Just the freedom David allows the drummer to have on this song [on the whole album in fact] Why Ernest Carter is not talked about with the same reverence and respect for his contribution to Jazz/Rock [Whatever!] drumming is beyond me. I still have to educate the ignorant who only know him from "Born To Run". Cheers Ernie.

  • Classic Hammond work by one of the best.

  • This was a great album....thanks for putting it on....

  • @justatuch never heard of todd cochran. i'll check him out. thanks for the tip. i was a black rocker (vocalist) back in the 60/70s in the nyc area. i saw many of the fusion guys live back then. it was a good era.

  • @mj99a I agree with you man, true prog rock was a genre where black musicians were a rarity but I think of the list mentioned, only Stanley Clark, and Lenny White would qualify. I can mention one more,Todd Cochran, but he never got that popular. I thank David Sancious for introducing this style of prog rock/fusion to my world-it's changed my life, like a metamorphosis in sound for me. "Transformations" was my favorite by Sancious.

  • fade away!!!!
