is it REALLY that impossible to make a double lane road , especially when their working on the road 24/7? packing the road down , checking for cracks , there is PLENTY of jobs to be done around there , dont say this is the ONLY way , thats just plain as day bullshit.

look people don't complain abt roads in Indian Himalayas. Himalayas are highest mountains in this world so obviously the roads are highest too. these roads remain closed for 6 months due to very heavy snow and avalanches. when snow is cleared after 6 months the roads are all damaged so the other 6 months are spent on repairing roads that too with so many hill slides. i think Indian authorities do a very great job in maintaing these highways in not so good terrain.
