Here is a quick review of the Eclipse AVN726e. I go through most of the features but not all of them. If there is anything you have a question about just post up on the video.

  • I just recently got this installed in my car, everything works but the GPS... says its connected to GPS receiver but can't receive GPS position information, and it pops up showing im in California. Italynstylion where did u place your GPS antenna? They put mine inside the car between the windshield and dashboard

  • I have mine mounted high up on the dash at the base of where my rear view mirror. It's up very high so I don't even see it...ever. I'd go back to the place you had it installed and tell them to fix it, especially if you paid for install.

  • Hey Bro, Im very convince in buying one now thanks to your video but i have a couple questions;

Can you change the color on the buttons that are flushed on the bottum?

and can you have the music playing on your Ipod/Radio while your jumping from option to option?

    THANK YOU :)

  • You can certainly have the Ipod or the radio playing while you're tooling around the different options. It doesn't stop playback unless you go into the phone functions.

I believe the buttons go from red to blue.

  • does it have separate settings for the subwoofer?

  • Yes sir, phase switching and level control with crossover. I believe it's a standard 80hz but I don't know for sure. Best to use what you have on your amp.

  • @darkman19693 i dont no what unit they gave you, but i got one in my triton and it works perfectly

  • Nice Nav. I have that same one.

  • thats james, hes british... Hes a really goos guy, he shows me where to go HAHAHAHAHA

  • I purchased a new Nissan X-Trail which came with a AVN726EA as standard. I would not recommend this unit to ANYONE. The GPS routing is only reliable to about a 30km trip max. I should note than i am in Australia so other countries may have better units.

  • Looks really nice. I'm sure you've answered this already. But how much was this?

  • I heard that the EQ setting for this 726E are a down grade compared to the Eclipse AVN 6620. Does this HU work with Ipod videos? Im considering this unit or the Kenwood DNX 9960 but the 9960 is very laggy and has a lot of bug issues. The 726E seems to work flawless.

  • One quick question.....

Does it have Touch-Seek cueing like the new pioneers?

IE: When music is playing, can you seek through a track using your finger to pinpoint and select the part of the track/mix? Most of my music will be 60-minute mixes and the fast forward button w/ 5 second increments doesn't cut it.... soooo annoying.

    THX

  • Thanks for the review. My brother gave me this reciever as a gift. It looks good and I hope there will be support for the GPS in the future.

  • How do you get this unit to be iPhone compatible? The wires they sell only support ipods..

  • I have the same unit and love it.. They just came out with a map update!!
