Homebuilt, self designed feedback looper. Can be carefully balanced to keep ticking over on itself but can be sent into oblivion just by moving from the centre pickup position on my Jazzmaster to either pickup on its own.

Built in Expression pedal option for feedback control on the fly.

Special wiring means it doesnt cut off dead when you finally switch it off... it lets the effect fade away naturally.

All analogue, no chips, just crafty wiring.

Enjoy!

Played on a MIJ Fender Jazzmaster, through a VOX AC15C1 (new model), via a BBE Two-Timer Delay, modified ProCo Rat and Mellowtone Singing Tree boosting the Rat.

I dint bother using any other pedals for this demo.

  • Very nice. Could you point to a schematic please? Thanks.

  • @Shaharazad221 sure: h tt p://farm4.static.flickr.com/3592/3775341040_25d6e90ca8_o.jpg

  • Hi, I would like to know which is the name of the pedal that you use at the same time with the proco RAT.

I would like to know the trademark os feedback pedal.

    Thanks so much.

  • @indirock77 ... I use a BBE Two-Timer Delay with the RAT.

The feedback looper has no trademark... I designed and built it myself

  • Hey, how does that Pro Co Rat sound through your AC15C1. I've been looking to buy a Rat but have gotten mixed feedback when it comes to whether or not it sounds good through the AC15C1. Thx

  • @Park0888 ... The rat sounds fantastic, but I cant comment on the new Rats (with the different chip), plus, what guitar you use is pretty important. The amp take pedals VERY well, and doesnt seem fussy at all.

A Rat pretty much sounds good with ANYTHING as long as you know how to dial everything in properley

  • @johnnysomersett is this link broken? Couldn't see it. Thanks

  • so could u use this to turn a sustained note into a harmonic with distortion?

  • @johnnysomersett It 404'd again.

  • @johnnysomersett jpg 404. Can you please upload it again?

  • @johnnysomersett Thanks man, I appreciate it.

  • hey, i just really enjoyed your playing there, good work on the pedal and all

  • @johnnysomersett I think he asked how you put a delay pedal before the drive (if you uses the amp drive). Thats why you need a fx loop, to put it after. I have a DMM and I'll buy an ac15c1 too, and I'm wondering about that, putting a delay pedal before the drive (I'm considering of using the drive of the amp). But The Edge used before and got a great fucking sound, I'll give it a try.

  • How does this differ from just playing with the feedback/regen knob on the delay? Does a passive looper do anything useful/interesting with non-timebased fx such as distortion? Nice design/execution/performance btw,
