Nelson and Jeanette were so wonderful together..their music was like magic...
a beautiful couple who gave us so many hours of entertainment from long ago
and still to this day they will always be the best..i am 85 and loved them for
most all those years..thanks to all who keeps their memories living. Patti

Absolutely delightful scene!! I think many folks assume that the N-J operettas will be very serious and long-hair in style. Then you have the witty banter here while the song is reprized with different girls' names- then, for the coup-de-grace, "it doesn't work with some names...it didn't work with MAUDE...but then NOTHING worked with Maude." Great dialogue!!
