@roberg03 Metallica are assholes. when Layne was going through bad times and couldn't tour they MOCKED him. they are hypocrites and assholes. and when they mocked him they were boo'd by their own crowd...

Does anyone know the lyrics or where I can find them? The more I hear AIC and Mad Season, the more I love them and I have been listening to them for going on 20 years.

@nashnwo1234 Hell yeah man! Layne was the inspiration for Metallica naming their last album Death Magnetic...for Layne to inspire James, Lars, Kirk and Rob...man that says a lot. He's a god damn hero to me!

i mourn for all who feel what layne felt. its rough, hang in as long as you can like layne did. he never quit, he never purposely overdosed to end his pain, he endured his burden that he blamed himself for until his body couldnt keep him alive anymore. it takes a high level of strength to be willing to bear your own cross like that and few men get the recognition for that strength. but i recognize it and i see it in his face and hear it in his voice during every single performance he ever did.
